The night was dark and the area appeared to be country or small town ambient. We, and when I say we I am not sure who the others are beside me, are walking down a old, poorly paved asphalt road which seems to be in the middle of nowhere. The road is so rough that I have the feeling I can actually see each pebble that has been molded together to keep nature at its guard. At no point did I actually look down at the road and at no point did I need to, for this information came in emotion and can never be described as sight for it has never existed as such a thing. The grass on the right side rose up slightly to give way to what seemed to be railway tracks. This was only noticeable after some time of walking and when we actually came to a railroad crossing. At the crossing we had stopped because the gates were down and there was a train approaching swiftly. The night didn’t feel mysterious until the train started past us and we were all looking in the windows at the people inside. As the train went past the windows illuminated in the nights sky like a dated flicker film. Although the train passed by at great speeds the people inside seemed to linger in the window longer than humanly possible. There was something disturbing about them and I instantly wished to turn away in fear but the will to do so left as soon as it came. I remember someone saying to the lot of us, in a very thoughtful voice: “I wonder if they realize they are moving in time”. The expression seemed to open my eyes to something and the train evidently symbolized time itself. As we peered into the windows I came across something reflective in the vicinity, it was the likes of a truck rim but irrelevant enough to ignore. I had decided to take a picture of the glowing streaky windows against the black abyss of the skies. As I looked through the camera I saw something in the faces of the passengers that I cannot describe. What ever it was it was frightening and all consuming. The vision was too emotional to understand in limited vocabulary. I was unable to take the photograph and the dream came to an end in some way.
